I chose to make crop 4 images into a square format because it was more effective as it focused on what was happening in the image. the portrait image has a background which is Amina own prayer mat.
Farva I am truly impressed with your unstoppable urge of raising awareness of the things that are important to you or your community. We all know you had very strong ideas that unfortunately did not work. It is really great how the ideas are poring out of you. One idea after another. I really think you have done great job communicating the issue of generalization and stereotypical image of women wearing veil. Your display was really cleaver. The images were subtle but the message strong. My favorite image from your series if the one in the shop. I have no doubt the you will become great social documentary photographer one day. Keep up the good work!!
